NDTV India achieved a strong performance during the year, recording a 6% market share on BARC.

  • Election Impact: During the Bihar Assembly Elections, the channel surged to the No. 2 position on the counting day, overtaking established legacy rivals.
  • Urban Leadership: Strong coverage of the BMC Elections in Mumbai further established the channel as the preferred destination for credible local reporting.
  • Primetime Dominance: NDTV's flagship 9 PM show, 'Bharat Ki Baat Batata Hoon', earned a firm spot among the Top 5 primetime shows in the industry, while the 10 PM slot consistently ranked within the Top 6 shows in its band.
  • Digital Excellence: Demonstrating its robust digital engagement, NDTV ranked No. 1 in total YouTube views among Hindi broadcasters in March 2026, with 2.9 billion. With a global digital community of 25 million YouTube subscribers, 4.2 million followers on X, and 3 million followers on Instagram, NDTV continued to strengthen its audience reach across platforms.

NDTV 24x7: Scaling New Heights

NDTV achieved its highest-ever BARC performance, with NDTV 24x7 securing multiple Top-2 rankings during the year.

  • Programming Innovation: This growth was fuelled by the launch of fresh editorial properties such as 'The Buck Stops Here', 'India Matters', and 'NDTV Newsroom'.
  • The Election Destination: NDTV refreshed approach to the Bihar elections, including new formats like 'Chai Stop' and 'Leaderboard', reaffirmed our position as the primary destination for election coverage.
  • Talent & Growth: NDTV strengthened its on-air presence by bringing top-tier anchors like Padmaja Joshi, Syed Suhail, Shiv Aroor, Vasudha Venugopal, Manogya Loiwal and T M Veeraraghav. In the digital space, the channel surpassed ~16 million YouTube subscribers.

Operational and Strategic Growth

On the corporate front, NDTV took decisive steps to ensure future scalability. NDTV successfully completed a Rights Issue to fund growth and executed a structural merger of four entities. This consolidation has simplified NDTV's operations, allowing it to focus on its core business priorities.

Global Dialogue and Live Experiences

The NDTV World Summit:

Held in New Delhi on October 17-18, 2025, the summit featured world leaders, including PM Narendra Modi, Sri Lankan PM Harini Amarasuriya, former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and former Australia Prime Minister Tony Abbott. This event cemented NDTV’s role as a convener of high-impact global conversations.

Expansion into Live Entertainment:

September 2025 launched a new events vertical under the brand ‘NDTV Good Times’, marking its entry into the live entertainment and cultural experiences space.

Unforgettable Events:

'NDTV Goodtimes' hosted its first mega concert in Srinagar with Sonu Nigam – a historic event for the valley. This was followed by A.R. Rahman’s 'Harmony of Hearts' concert in Delhi on December 20, 2025, which saw an overwhelming response as the maestro returned to the capital after six years.
