Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) is building large-scale, integrated capabilities to produce and commercialise green hydrogen and its derivatives. The business operations align with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission, which targets 5 MMTPA of green hydrogen production by 2030 to support decarbonisation and energy security. Green hydrogen is emerging as a critical driver of the global energy transition, supported by the rapid expansion of renewable energy. ANIL aims to serve domestic demand while establishing itself as a leading global exporter.
Produced using renewable energy sources such as solar and wind through advanced electrolysis, green hydrogen serves as a clean energy alternative with significant potential to decarbonise multiple sectors and support climate action.
ANIL is developing derivatives, including Green Ammonia and e-Methanol, to address the needs of hard-to-abate sectors such as chemicals, steel, and international shipping. Additional derivatives, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), are being advanced across strategic planning and development stages.
