Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL), through its subsidiary Adani Road Transport Limited (ARTL), plays a significant role in India’s transportation infrastructure sector by developing roads, highways, expressways, tunnels, metro rail systems, railway infrastructure and ropeway projects. The business actively participates in opportunities initiated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Ministry of Railways, State Metro Corporations and various Central and State Government authorities.
ARTL primarily focuses on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) and Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) frameworks. Since commencing operations in 2018, the business has rapidly expanded and today manages a diversified portfolio of 20 projects spanning more than 5,500 lane kilometres across India. The portfolio also includes the prestigious Kedarnath Ropeway Project, reflecting the Company’s expansion into emerging transportation infrastructure segments.
